Position Summary

      THIS POSITION CAN BE ONSITE, REMOTE, OR HYBRID
      Evaluates data using analytical and logical reasoning to examine each component of the data provided to incorporate into SMC³ data formats. Performs duties with minimal supervision and direction. Develop, modify and maintain processes/programs for internal use. This involves analysis, design, coding, testing and documentation. Also performs other duties related to the support of SMC³ data content and products. Limited Telecommuting.

Essential Functions

    • Performs duties with minimal supervision and direction.
    • Subject matter expert for one or more of SMC³ core products.
    • Analyzes existing programs and implements enhancements to improve performance.
    • With minimal assistance, develops and/or modifies existing procedures, programs and processes to create and modify data for customers.
    • Determine applicable procedures, programs and processes needed to build and verify the product(s) based on customer requirements.
    • With minimal assistance develops procedures, programs and processes to build and verify products bases on customer requirements.
    • Follows Procedures, runs programs and processes to build and verify product(s).
    • Performs all aspects of data verification, including Regression Testing.
    • Works with customers to gather and develop project requirements.
    • Builds relationships with customers to ensure data continuity and accuracy.
    • Stay current on software used to build/create SMC³ products and data content.
    • Considers and presents alternatives to direct manager/supervisor and Data Services team.
    • Performs other related duties as required.
    • Able to lead small to basic intermediate projects.
    • Participates on Agile Teams as needed.

Qualifications

      Required
    • Minimum 2-year Programming or Data related college degree, professional certification or equivalent related work experience.
    • Database (MS SQL, MySQL and/or Access)
    • Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
    • Programming language(s) (i.e., Java, C#, Python, etc.)
    • Experience with the following is a plus
    • Adobe
    • Customer service
    • ExamDiff Pro
    • File Zipping (PKZip, WinZip, WinRAR)
    • FTP (Moveit, FileZilla, etc.)
    • Kedit
    • Knowledge of Rating, Transit Time, etc.
    • Microsoft CRM
    • OTSort
    • Ready API (SoapUI) using SOAP and REST API’s
    • SharePoint
    • Working in an agile environment
    • Working with data in text files
