SMC³ Named a 2015 Top 100 Logistics IT Provider by Inbound Logistics

Peachtree City, Ga. – Inbound Logistics, a leader in supply chain and logistics management since 1981, has named SMC³ to the magazine’s 2015 list of Top 100 Logistics IT Providers for the sixth consecutive year.

This year marks the 13th overall win for SMC³. The full results are posted in the April issue of Inbound Logistics and online.

Every year, Inbound Logistics recognizes 100 logistics IT companies that support and enable logistics excellence. The magazine’s editors select the top 100 IT providers from a pool of more than 400 companies, winnowing down the entrants by weighing information gathered through questionnaires, personal interviews and other research.

“SMC³’s technology solutions are central to solving transportation and supply chain challenges,” Felecia Stratton, editor of Inbound Logistics, stated. “The company’s trusted products help shippers, carriers and 3PLs navigate the complexity of less-than-truckload freight transportation and optimize their network.”

Inbound Logistics has singled out SMC³ for developing tools that contribute to the efficient business operations of shippers, carriers and third party logistics providers. Well-known for its less-than-truckload pricing benchmark CzarLite®, as well as the rating and transit-time tools RateWare® XL® and CarrierConnect® XL, SMC³ provides customers with comprehensive solutions that allow them to forge best business partnerships and effectively manage cost and service risks.

“As a part of our company’s mission, we strive to provide unique transportation data, technology solutions and educational services that optimize our customer’s supply chain,” stated SMC³ CEO Jack Middleton. “It’s an honor to be named again as one of Inbound Logistics’ Top 100 Logistics IT Providers.”
