SMC³ Collects Three TMSA Compass Awards
Peachtree City, GA. – SMC³ has won three Compass Awards of Excellence from the Transportation Marketing and Sales Association for its marketing work on the Connections and Jump Start conferences.
TMSA recognized SMC³ for the marketing campaign strategy, execution, and results for Jump Start 2015 and Connections 2014, as well as a single advertisement for Jump Start 2015’s Ignite Speed Meetings sessions.
SMC³ is committed to supporting the transportation industry by creating opportunities for learning, relationship building and the exchange of ideas. Jump Start and Connections are educational conferences produced annually by SMC³ as the primary means of providing this support.
Counting this year’s three awards, SMC³ has received 11 awards since it started entering the Compass competition in 2013. Last year, SMC³ was also awarded Best in Show for its Jump Start 2014 campaign. The Best in Show award, which celebrates the highest scoring submission across the entire field, is announced annually during the TMSA awards ceremony. This year’s event will be held June 9 during TMSA’s Logistics Marketing and Sales Leadership Conference in St. Petersburg, Fla.

This year, the TMSA judged 80 entries from more than 35 companies on the written strategies and actual creative work of each marketing campaign. The total number of points earned based on a six-point scale determine if a recipient receives an award of excellence (the highest level of the award) or an award of merit. SMC³ joined 10 other companies – ranging from CSX Transportation Intermodal to the Reliance Network – in receiving Awards of Excellence. Fifteen companies were recognized with Awards of Merit.
